Wild Alaskan Halibut may be one of the most prized fish for seafood lovers, due to it's amazing flavor and seasonally-limited availability. The International Pacific Halibut Commission highly regulates the wild halibut fishing quotas and season each year. The boats set sail this year on March 8, 2014, throwing their bottom longlines in the waters to begin the wild Alaskan halibut season! The season ends in November though, so make sure to get your hands on your yearly halibut by ordering today.

Halibut is the largest flatfish and is found in both northern Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. The fish is white on one side and a medium-brown color on the other. Halibut fillet is delicate, sweet, firm, and flaky.

1 lb. of fish is about 2-3 servings depending on sides and appetites.
